Machel leads the professional learning strategy for Tennessee’s entire educator force to ensure that professional learning offered is personalized and meaningful. Prior to this role, Machel served as a reading/language arts teacher and literacy coach for Metro Nashville Public Schools. Machel holds degrees from Northwestern University and Vanderbilt University.
